Maintenance
Though fairly easy to do yourself, taking the time to regularly address these few maintenance issues will add years of fun to your golf cart investment.
- Battery care – Lithium batteries are extremely long lasting, but it is necessary to periodically check for signs of wear or tear to the battery packs. While you are there, ensure the batteries are kept clean and debris-free. Clean batteries are more efficient and less prone to overheating concerns.
- Tires – Ensure you keep your tires inflated to manufacturer specifications. This reduces wear and allows your cart to handle better. As part of your routine tire check, examine your brakes and suspension for visible signs of damage or wear and tear.
- Software updates – Routinely update your software when you are notified an update is available.
- General condition – Like your car, it is wise to regularly do a “walk around”. Check brake lights, turn signals, and other components are working properly.
- Scheduled maintenance – Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines regarding scheduled maintenance.
